A micro winery makes efficient use of a small site, south of Calistoga. The tasting room and production buildings are connected by the arc of a trellis that shades a walkway and frames a view into the adjacent vineyard which seems to expand the limited site. Pockets of perennial plantings and trees border building entry plazas. The varied paving surfaces intersect the parking area, which doubles as an outdoor event space.
