An agricultural landscape

The agricultural curriculum is reflected in the site design for a satellite campus for Napa Valley College in St. Helena. Walnut trees and a vineyard provide the foreground to the building complex. Hedgerows of poplars lead into the campus and to the parking area under a canopy of orchard trees. Perennial grasses create a pasture-like setting around the buildings. The interior quadrangle integrates an herb garden for the culinary arts program and opens onto a grassy amphitheater.
