Information

Stephanie McAllister is inspired by the natural, agrarian and cultural landscapes of Northern California. Her goal is to create artful and innovative landscapes that integrate site and architecture into cohesive site design solutions. She has been practicing landscape architecture in Sonoma County since 1987, combining an expertise in site planning with detailed landscape architectural design.

Each project is approached as an opportunity to create outdoor spaces that function beautifully as work, living or educational places. Sustainable site strategies such as tree preservation, use of local materials, water conservation and stormwater management become integral to the site landscape concept. In addition, the practicalities of project implementation, budget, and long-term maintenance are considered to ensure that design concepts are realized.
